Professional Property Photography

Armed with an excellent eye for detail, a breadth of experience in photographing a wide range of different properties, deep technical knowledge, and the uncanny ability to bring out the unique character of every property they see; our team of expert photographers are dedicated to capturing the best angles and creating the perfect shots.

Expert Property Photographers in London & Suffolk

With headquarters in both London and Ipswich, we have extensive experience in photographing the diverse range of properties found in both great locations. We are always excited to encounter new kinds of buildings in different architectural styles whenever the opportunity arises.

The Importance of Using Professional Photographers

In this day and age where everyone has a high-spec digital camera built into their mobile phones, you may be under the false impression that professional photography services have become obsolete. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Photography is an art form like any other, so it requires craftsmanship, dedication, technical skill and a keen eye for making the best creative decisions.

  • Skills and experience – With the most state-of-the-art camera equipment at their disposal, an expert property photographer knows how to use the right lenses and achieve the best angles, lighting and staging for every shot – the difference between a professional’s and an amateur's work is evident.

  • Perfected through editing – Our eagle-eyed editors will use their skills to adjust the brilliance and saturation of your photographs to enhance the image of your property.

  • Here to meet your expectations – More importantly, our property photographers have your interests in mind and will adapt to suit your needs and preferences when it comes to bringing your property to life on a digital display..

Our Range of Property Marketing Services

We offer a robust range of estate agent photography services that can help sell the image of your property to buyers and showcase your agency to potential vendors.

Interior Photograhy

Interior Photography

Combined with the exterior, the interior of a building is one of the most important areas of a building to portray well. Interior space should look clean, classy, characterful, distinctive and spacious. Our photographers have many years of experience in bringing these qualities out of the interiors they have worked with.

  • Styling and arrangement advice – Similar to how a director frames a scene on a movie set, a marketing photographer needs to be able to arrange the ideal layout for an interior space. This can involve moving furniture and other objects to make the space look more ergonomic.

  • Conveying home life – When photographing residential properties, an integral aspect of interior photography is giving the observer the freedom to imagine themselves living in this open space. We hope that anyone, no matter their income or aspirations, can look at one of our home interior photographs in a magazine or online and briefly picture themselves sitting on your sofa, or preparing food in the kitchen.

  • Keeping you in the loop – We will always consult with you with advice on the many ways we could alter your interior space to achieve the best look possible, without interfering in unwanted or unnecessary ways – we are always mindful that it is still your property, not ours.

Exterior Photography

The exterior of a building is the first impression most people will get of a property, so it is vital to make it look as attractive and appealing as possible, even under challenging lighting conditions. A viewer should be able to get an immediate feel for the size, location and dimensions of the property.

  • Getting the best angles – While true of all photography, it is essential to get the right angles for the exterior of a building when handling a marketing shoot. Factors to consider are how to properly convey a sense of scale, how well the building stands out compared to the nearby scenery, and how to emphasise the distinct character of the property, among others. We find that unconventional perspectives can often be more dynamic and appealing than a standard, symmetrical shot from the front of the building.

  • Weathering with you – For the most pleasing shoot, we will try to photograph the outside of your property on a nice, sunny day. As anyone familiar with the Great British weather knows, though, sometimes you have to take the closest opportunities that present themselves. During the dark winter months, we may have to settle for slightly greyer days, but luckily, our editing software can draw out a photo’s brightness and even make the skies look bluer!

Commercial Photography

Commercial photography is a branch of property photography dedicated to capturing corporate spaces such as office blocks, public convention sites, retail buildings and storage facilities, rather than private residential properties. Crafting a large portfolio of appealing, high-quality photos of your commercial space with us can dramatically improve the overall perspective of your brand.

  • Office spaces – By photographing the reception desks, the open-plan workstations and the enclosed meeting rooms, we can emphasise the comfort and safety that employees would experience while working in your offices.

  • Storage facilities – Making an empty warehouse space look appealing may seem challenging, but emphasising the amount of open space that can be practically used for storage, often with wide-angle shots, is actually the goal!

Bespoke Photography

Crafted entirely to your specifications, our bespoke photography service is all about capturing the more intimate, granular details of your residential or commercial spaces. We can definitely help if you want to give your space a quaint, personalised edge.

  • Close-ups – If you want us to get a closer view of your bookshelf, kitchen layout, computer desk space or anything else, that is no problem at all! These close-ups can be just as important in conveying the character of your property as the wide-angle shots.

  • Lifestyle shots – Most property marketing photography involves keeping the selected areas devoid of any signs of people to emphasise the quality of the space itself, but if you want to imbue your portfolio with a more realistic human touch, that’s also right up our alley. Anything from setting up cutlery on a dining table to scenes of kitchen appliances in action, we can give it a bespoke polish.

Design Photography

We also specialise in photographing product showrooms, concept design spaces, museum exhibits, and more. We are proud to have built strong working relationships with seasoned architects, interior designers, and many professionals in other sectors of the property marketing industry.

  • Interior design photography – Beautiful interior designs deserve equally ravishing photography to emphasise your uncompromising artistic vision. Getting a professional shoot from us is always the way to go.

  • The Design Museum – Photographing the Design Museum in London was a marvellous opportunity and shows our proficiency in capturing all areas of design work, including the most cutting-edge graphics, architecture, cinemas, fashion and products. Drone Photography

Look, up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Well, usually, it would be our resident flying photographer, the Amazing Camera-Man, but when he isn’t free, we instead use a remote drone camera to get some elevated shots of taller properties. Such are the miracles of modern technology, we can now take extremely elevated, comprehensive photographs that would not have been feasible a few decades ago.

  • Getting everything in the shot – With aerial photography, we can capture the entire facade of a tall building from a high angle. This can give a viewer a much better perspective on seeing the height and scale of the overall structure from a faraway vantage point.

  • Birds-eye vantage points – Our drones can reach even higher elevations to capture a birds-eye view of your property as well as the surrounding areas. From this angle, you can get a clearer perspective on how the property fits into the overall landscape.

Photo Editing

Our editors will digitally process all of the photographs taken, with rigorous quality control standards applied to make sure that only the very finest are selected for your final approval.

  • Colour correction – Whether it’s to highlight the rich red colour of the brickwork on the exterior of your property or to make a dull sky look bright blue, we have various tools in our editing software to liven up our photographs.

  • Object removal – We can completely remove any unwanted objects from a picture, without leaving a trace of their existence. We can erase stacks of dirty dishes from a kitchen sink or delete post-it notes with personal information on fridge doors. You’ll be astounded by the results of these techniques!

  • Customised to your specifications – You’re in control of how we modify your property photographs. We will heed all of your requests and suggestions during the editing process.

  • Editing your own photos – If you have taken some property photos of your own, we can also offer to spruce them up with our advanced retouching tools. We can give them a more professional look worthy of your marketing portfolio.

How to Prepare Your Property for Photography

There are some general steps you can take prior to a visit from our photographers to make sure that your property is as aesthetically pleasing and accessible as possible. These measures also make life much easier for our editors.

  • Thoroughly clean your property – We all want your property to make the best first impression for potential buyers, so please try to make it as spotlessly clean as possible, inside and out.

  • Remove clutter – Unless it’s for a specialist bespoke photography job, an interior photography shoot should portray the rooms as empty blank slates, without too many miscellaneous or personal items on tables and worktops. Vases, cushions and paintings are fine to keep, though!

  • Move cars and bins away from the driveway – So as to not distract attention away from the property, please temporarily move any vehicles, bins or other items out of the vicinity of the exterior shots.

  • Mow the lawn – It’s best to keep the gardens neat and tidy for any shots that happen to include them.

  • Plump up pillows – As said above, pillows, cushions and bedclothes are encouraged to be kept in the bedroom and lounge photoshoots, but please make sure they look plump, cosy and straightly laid out on the sofa and beds.
